Jemina Sillanpää (b.1982) is an actress, director, musician, and teacher. She graduated with an MA in Acting in 2010 from the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts, Helsinki. She has also pursued Pedagogical Studies (2010-2014) at the Theatre Academy, within their department of Dance and Theatre Pedagogy. She has taught acting courses in a variety of universities, schools, theatres, and organisations across Finland. Jemina directed the film Karavaani 2017 which was screened at the National Theatre in Helsinki; she has also directed a variety of performances at different theatres. Jemina also works as a musician and has a band with her sister called Jemina & Selina. They have toured in Finland, Europe and USA.
